Over 500 mountain lakes in the entire Hohe Tauern National Park are waiting to be discovered. The water quality of the mountain lakes in Austria is top-notch! Even if the water temperature can be very refreshing, there is nothing more beautiful than swimming in an untouched mountain lake after a hike! In our vacation region, you have numerous opportunities for this at idyllic lakes.

Those who prefer classic family swimming fun will find it in the public pools of the region. Just five minutes walk from our apartment house is the Kristallbad with a special children's pool and a 50-meter tube slide. Admission is free for our guests. Also, in the surrounding communities, there are beautiful, modern public pools that invite you to an uncomplicated swimming day during your summer vacation.

Adventure Arena Kogel-Mogel

The Adventure Arena Kogel-Mogel at the mountain station of the Wildkogelbahn in Neukirchen offers unforgettable family fun. On 10,000 m², the exciting wooden playground provides your kids with all the possibilities to have a blast:

Mountain Cart Adventure for the Whole Family

On Wildkogel, you can experience an exciting mountain cart track. With three-wheeled, off-road carts, you take the winding descent from the mountain station of the Smaragdbahn to the middle station. The approximately four-kilometer-long route offers action for children and parents. Smaller kids (from 4 to 9 years old) ride with mom and dad, while older children (from 10 years old / minimum height 150 cm) embark on their own mountain cart adventure. A rental helmet for your safety is included in the ticket price.
